FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions buyers ask before the first order — answered directly. Anything not covered here: message us, we reply to every inquiry within 24 hours.

01Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a direct source manufacturer. Our own manufacturing base was established in 2004 and has spent over two decades producing fishing reels under one roof: die casting, CNC machining, painting, electroplating and final assembly all happen in-house. The plant runs 18,000+ m² of factory space with 200+ employees, two own foundries plus a CNC machining plant, and turns out more than 2.5 million reels a year for buyers in 50+ countries. Most components — spools, bodies, gears, handles and drag assemblies — are produced in-house from an extensive mold library. No middlemen.

02What is your MOQ?

We keep trial quantities low on purpose: trial orders are welcome on most models, so you can test a range before committing to a container. Exact MOQ varies by model and by the level of customization — tell us the models and we will confirm the figures in the quotation.

03Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We build samples — blank or branded — before any bulk run. Sample cost and lead time are confirmed in the quotation for your specific models and specification. Ask for a sample together with your quotation and we will schedule it in the same cycle.

04Can you print my logo and supply custom packaging?

Yes. Logo printing or laser etching on the body, rotor and spool, custom colorways matched to a Pantone reference, and retail packaging: printed color box, blister, hangtag, instruction leaflet and barcode. Vector artwork is all we need to start.

05What is your production lead time?

20–30 days is typical, counted from artwork and deposit confirmation. Peak season can extend this; the committed date is stated in the order confirmation. In-line photos are shared at the inspection stage so you can see the run before it ships.

06Are your reels suitable for saltwater?

Yes — several of our lines are built for inshore saltwater work, with corrosion-resistant finishes on body, spool and handle, and sealed or protected drag assemblies. Tell us the saltwater application (inshore, surf, boat) and we will recommend the models and the protection stack we build them with. As with any reel, a fresh-water rinse after each trip extends service life.

07Do you support OEM/ODM with my own design?

Yes. Our R&D team develops and produces to your specifications, from minor modifications to fully custom tooling. Because we run an extensive in-house mold library, in many cases we can match your requirement with an existing mold — which saves you the tooling cost. New models move from drawing to sample fast thanks to our own CNC machining.

08Which markets do you serve?

More than 50 countries worldwide, with our largest markets in the United States and Europe — including Germany, France, Poland, Italy and the United Kingdom. Export documentation is prepared for each destination.

09What are your payment terms?

Payment is discussed per order — typically T/T, with terms available for repeat buyers. The agreed terms are written into the order confirmation before production starts.

10What export documents do you provide?

Commercial invoice, packing list, weights and dimensions, and certificate of origin as standard; market-specific compliance documentation on request. Documents are issued with each shipment.

11How do you control quality?

Every reel is inspected before it leaves the line: incoming material checks, in-line inspection during assembly, and a drag and line-lay test before packing. Quality is not a department here — it is the reason partners across North America, Europe and beyond have stayed with us for years.

12What should I include in my inquiry to get a faster quotation?

Four things: the models or reel types you are interested in, your estimated quantity, your target market, and any branding you need (logo, color, packaging). With those we can come back with unit price, MOQ, lead time and freight options in one reply — within 24 hours.
